Exhibitions, Shop and Room hireSHOPThe shop of the Victoria Park Centre for the Arts features hand made art and craft from professional artisans of WA. The shop grand opening was on the 26th of May 2007. The shop features jewellery, textiles, gift cards, pottery/ceramics, glass ware, wood craft and small art pieces and object d’ art. Appointments by artists/craft people can be made with the shop committee to discuss and view work to be considered for consignment in the shop. Contact the centre for more details.
EXHIBITIONSExhibition space includes (Main Gallery Room) 5 m x 11 m plus the (Hall Way) (11 m x 2 m) and Front Room (5 m x 5 m) all with 6 m high walls with track lighting (in Main Gallery Room and Front Room) and picture rails.
EXHIBITION FEE COVERS THE FOLLOWING SERVICES WHICH WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE CENTRE:
RESPONSIBILITIES OF EXHIBITING ARTIST(S)
Studio Space available for hire for workshops, classes, meetings, and forums and community activities. The Studio space is a new area that measures 9 x 9 metres, with a vaulted ceiling with ceiling fans and halogen lights and includes a large wash sink area. A number of trestle tables and chairs are available, there is also sound equipment to hire for functions and the studio features large windows and bi fold doors that open into the garden. There is a fully equipped kitchen for catering, tables and chairs, male, female and disabled toilets. Studio space includes use of easels, boards and drawing benches. Current rates are: STUDIO SPACE:Members: $28 per half day /evening $50 per dayNon Members: $32 per half day / evening $55 per day The Gallery Space is located in the weatherboard house 5 metres by 11 metres with high ornate ceilings, track lighting, picture rail, hanging equipment and various size/height plinths. It is not available during the day 10am to 4pm and not available for wet activities eg painting. Current rates are: GALLERY SPACE:Members: $20 per eveningNon Members: $23 per evening
STUDIO/GALLERY/FRONT ROOM HIRE & ARTS HUB HIRE Space for hire is suitable for exhibitions, workshops, meetings, and forums,
parties/events for up to 50 people and community activities at nominal
rates. Current rates range from $10 an hour for non members for meeting
room to $130 a week for gallery space for non member. Call the centre for
availability and a price. There is a fully equipped kitchen for catering of exhibitions, parties and forums with many tables and chairs. VICTORIA PARK ARTS HUB STUDIO SPACEVictoria Park Arts Hub studio is a large shed space on offer to 4 working artists who require a working space for a period of 6 months or more, at $30 a week rent. The Arts Hub is a large open plan shed with concrete slab flooring, metal walls (external) with lighting and currently has one large lockable door. Activities best undertaken in the Arts Hub are;

of Interest Form Parking at the front of the Bowling Club provides a short walk to the centre.
