Volunteers

Volunteer Application 28Kb PDF form.

The Victoria Park Centre for the Arts, as with other non-government organisations, is dependent on volunteers in continuing its service to the local community. Volunteering is a way to develop new skills, gain valuable work experience and make a contribution to our community. It allows people of all ages and backgrounds the challenge of putting skills, talents, and knowledge and life experience to good use.

Art Management students and graduates may find work experience at the Art Centre particularly useful and projects can be tailored to specific needs. For example, coordinating our Exhibition Program, participating in community art projects, fundraising proposals and implementation, sponsorship initiatives, research projects and publicity programs.

Organisational skills are in great demand, or you might like to sit on the Executive Management Committee, if playing a role in policy and decision making sounds challenging. The Art Centre would like to hear from local artists and crafts people interested in exhibiting their work as part of our Exhibition Program.
